Patrick Vlaskovits, “The Lean Entrepreneur” to kick-off DareToBeLean

Registration for DareToBeLean will be opening up this week, so keep an eye on D2BL2013.com for the announcement. You will definitely want to take advantage of our Super Early Bird pricing in October, because we are setting up an awesome event – including noted author Patrick Vlaskovits! Patrick will be leading a workshop on Day 1 of D2BL all about customer development. How do you know if you’re spending your capital building the right product? Patrick can teach you!

AgilityFeat joins C3 working space in Cambridge MA

AgilityFeat is proud to be joining the C3 working space in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As part of the Cambridge Innovation Center, this building hosts more than 400 startups right next to MIT and in a major hub of innovation on the East Coast. We’ll be there regularly visiting the Venture Cafe and other events, so setup a time to meet Arin and get the tech advice or teams that your startup needs!

Tour of AgilityFeat’s Wishlisting.org project

Check out this blog post where we give you a tour of the wishlisting.org site that we are building for charities. Arin will show the current feature set, focused on our initial customer, the Albemarle Housing Improvement Program. Arin also gives a quick tour of the «Cucumber» features that we use to automate testing of the application and to implement a common agile engineering technique: Acceptance Test Driven Development.

4 more tips to Nearshore Agile Development

CIO magazine last week wrote an article on how to offshore Agile Development projects. Read this post to see 4 additional crucial things you can learn from AgilityFeat before you outsource your project. And learn why you should «nearshore» instead of «offshore»!

Betas, Big Bang Theories, and Startups

If you like the show «Big Bang Theory» as much as we do, then you’ll like this post. If you are getting tired of the term «Beta», you’ll also like it. See why Arin is tired of betas.

LeanStartup Machine launches Validation Board

Have you heard the terms lean startup, pivots, customer discovery, but you are having a little trouble getting started? Use this simple one page guide from the Lean Startup Machine to get started right away.

By the way, AgilityFeat will be in Boston this weekend at a Lean Startup Machine, so watch out for us on the streets! We’ll be out and about testing hypotheses for a product idea we have. You can expect a blog post or two about this soon…
